Bennett College's Sit-in Movement

Unfolding Bennett College for Women’s Untold Story is a website created by Bennett College journalism students in Greensboro, North Carolina.  This website explores and celebrates Bennett College for Women’s significant role in the Civil Rights Movement.  The site will highlight Bennett College students' overlooked role in the 1960's F.W. Woolworth's sit-ins in downtown Greensboro.  Our website will feature original stories, profiles, and pictures of  Bennett College women who participated in the Sit-in movement.
